ST. CONSTANTINE CHOIR

The St. Constantine Church Choir is comprised of professional singers and talented volunteers, who are members of St. Constantine church and sings for the 10 AM Sunday Mass as well as all major events. The St. Constantine choir is featured in concerts throughout the year and draws its repertoire from the best of the sacred choral traditions. The choir is led by professional conductor Dr. Yuri Ivan. We sing a Capella sacred choral music used in the Byzantine-rite. We meet weekly for weekly rehearsals and sing at Sunday's Liturgies, weddings, funerals, and other special events. The choir has been very active in the church and community for many years. This is our Facebook Group where we occasionally post video clips of us singing and pictures. We have organized and hosted 10 successful Byzantine Choral Festivals. Seven years ago, the choir produced a CD of the Divine Liturgy and started to record a new CD at the beginning of 2020. The members were very excited and worked hard to perfect the pieces for the CD.

Please follow up on our YouTube channel and Facebook for those who cannot attend in person.

COVID 19 Events

COVID 19 curtailed choral activities. One of the most difficult consequences was the need to postpone the Annual Byzantine Choral Festival, a free and public event, held in October, which showcases beautiful choral music of the Byzantine Rite to the Twins Cities community.

A handful of our passionate singers, while adhering to social distancing, are providing music for our live-streamed services. We eagerly look forward to resume working on our CD and full choir singing.
